Meeting of Eurasian economic commission council held in Moscow
Meeting of Eurasian Economic Commission Council is held in Moscow. The agenda was the preparation of the adoption of the Customs Code of the EAEC. It is expected that the new document will be approved by the end of this year.

We have considered a large spectrum of issues on technical nature. It was very difficult, there were so many disputes that have arisen. We hope that by the end of the year, we will handle all of our issues and, Customs Code will be approved by all parties.
EAEC customs code to be based on world standard
Draft Customs Code of the Union is based on world standards. The provisions of 20 international treaties in the sphere of customs regulation are codified in the document.

Business community from all five countries participated in the development of Customs Code. Reasonable balance of businesses and government agencies were taken into account. Customs Code solved some problems at the previous stage, but now we should go forward and, develop new document that takes into account suggestions from business community of five countries.
Moreover, the issue of equal access to Russian ports was also considered at the discussion of the new Customs Code.
