Production of caviar to start in Zhambyl region
Fishing industry of Zhambyl region is planning to produce 100 kilograms of black caviar in 2017. Lugovoi stud farm is set to launch new production. Fish breeding company was built for 1.5 years. Four species of sturgeon are growing here. The nursery has 7000 fish. The workflow is fully automated. Optimal conditions including temperature are set depending on the type and age of the fish. This allows creating comfortable environment for its development and shortening production time. Water for the plant as well as for the entire production is taken from its own wells. We save resources thanks to the installation of a closed water supply. The plant is designed to produce 60 tons of commercial fish and growing two tons of caviar a year. Grown fry are sent to Atyrau to spawn.

Initially, we brought the eggs and brought them out of the fry. We feed fish four times a day. They need good care. In addition, the water for the fish undergoes special treatment in three stages: mechanical, biological and chemical.
The unique technology of meat and caviar sturgeon allows produces ‘luxe’ products. According to the Head of the company, they are planning to increase the amount of sturgeon caviar up to 7-8 tons per year in 6 six years.
