Kazakhstan to modernize public libraries
Libraries in Kazakhstan will become leisure centers. In addition to reading rooms, there will be cinemas and children’s rooms. Library staff will undergo special training for their service. The country now has more than 11,000 libraries. For six months the total number of visitors exceeded the figure of last year and amounted to more than a million people.
