The Telegraph has named 10,000 Tenge banknote as most beautiful world banknote

Kazakhstan’s Tenge was named the most beautiful banknote by the British edition of The Telegraph. The rating includes 15 national banknotes of the world. Domestic 10,000 banknote outpaced the South African rand and the New Zealand dollar. To remind, the banknote was issued in 2003. It features a snow leopard on one side and the great philosopher of the East Al-Farabi on the other. The Kazakhstani Tenge was repeatedly recognized as the best currency in the world, both in design and the degree of protection.
