Agricultural products worth 2.7 trln tenge produced in 2015
Volume of gross agricultural output increased 4.5% last year and amounted to 2.7 trln tenge. Particular progress was marked in the food industry. Revenues in the sector have increased by almost a third. This was reported during the final board in the relevant ministry with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev.
By the way, preparations for the spring sowing campaign have already begun in the Ministry. 60 bln tenge will be allocated from the state budget to its funding this year. According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov, the area of oilseeds and forage crops has increased in the country. Saparkhan Omarov says they are in a great demand in the market.

Today, foreign countries buy Kazakhstan’s oilseeds. Oilseeds and forage crops area expansion is also a crop rotation of the land, so it influences on the efficient use of land.
Kazakhstan willing to export meat products to China
In 2015 Kazakhstan exported more than 16,000 tons of meat products. In general, over the past 15 years, meat exports have grown by nearly 54 times. And this figure keeps increasing. As it became known, now Kazakhstan has the possibility for meat exports to China.
Bakhytzhan SAGINTAYEV CALLS TO DEVELOP PRODUCTION OF HALAL PRODUCTS:
First Deputy Prime Minister focused on the need to actively attract investment into the sector. In addition, Sagintayev instructed to pay attention to the production of ‘halal’ products. He predicted that in 5 years the market of ‘halal’ products will reach $2.5 trln. Therefore, Kazakhstan should find its niche. According to Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, Kazakhstan has all possibilities for this.
