Kazakh President holds consultation on holding snap elections

The elections to the Majilis and maslikhats of all levels can be combined. This will help to optimize all budget expenditures and to implement the planned reforms. President of Kazakhstan held consultations in Akorda with the presidents of the two Chambers of Parliament, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Constitutional Court today. The Head of State has not yet made a final decision, but according to the Constitution, snap elections are held in the country in two months from the date of early dissolution of the Senate and Majilis. To remind, members of Majilis addressed such initiative to the President. The main work of the renewed Parliament should be aimed at overcoming the crisis in the country and further consolidation of the society.
