Memorandums worth more than one billion Tenge signed at investment forum

Memorandums worth more than 1 billion tenge were signed at the investment forum in Aktobe. The city becomes a unique platform for dialogue between the Kazakhstani business and foreign investors for the third time. Foreign visitors say that now they open up great opportunities for finding new partners and business contacts in Kazakhstan.  

 

Diego LUKERONI, VICE PRESIDENT OF ITALIAN COMPANY:

Our company has been operating for five years in Kazakhstan. And today we plan to create a joint venture with local partners; we will invest in the development of a joint business and will supply our high tech equipment on manufacturing of concrete sleepers as well as intellectual property.

 

NURZHAN ALTAYEV, DEPUTY CHAIRMAN, NATIONAL CHAMBER OF ENTREPRENEURS ‘ATAMEKEN’:

We signed a memorandum today and start a new project on micro-credit especially for rural entrepreneurs. We will allocate 300 million tenge for this purpose and Mayor’s Office will allocate another 300 million tenge for the implementation of this project.

 

In addition, it became known that the construction of nickel and cement plants will start in Aktobe region in the near future as well as enterprises producing construction materials and recycling solid-waste and associated gas.
