Digital technologies are used at a cotton processing plant in Turkestan region
Digital technologies are actively used in agribusiness. It also used at a cotton processing plant in Maktaaral district in Turkestan region. The company is equipped with American technologies which are unique in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The facility obtains fibre and process raw materials. The products are delivered to textile factories in Shymkent.

- After the cotton scrolling is completed, pressing begins. Then, the processed raw cotton is wrapped.
Construction of the facility is estimated at one billion tenge. The plant processes up to 35,000 tonnes of cotton per year. The capacity will be increased to 60,000 tonnes of cotton annually. According to the company, the products are competitive in the domestic market. Labour productivity has also been increased by one third.

- Work at the factory is automated. The whole process is controlled by one person. In our old factory, workshops were located separately from each other. Now the production lines are located in one place.
This modernization increases the production of cotton fibre by 30% and produces better quality products. Up to 25-30% of electricity is also saved.
