During this period, participants were assisted to do business networking. They were also provided consulting services as well as an office in the Expo territory.
The participants presented their start-up business plans with a question and answer session during the Demo Day. The business includes projects related to virtual reality, artificial intelligence and online marketplace.
MAGZHAN MADIYEV, DIRECTOR, CORPORATE FUND OF ASTANA HUB INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY PARK OF IT-START UPS:
- In total, 13 projects have been submitted to the program. Not all of them got to the end. Some projects are very good and have been admitted into other programs. For example, three of our graduates have been admitted into the Smart Zholy program and are heading to Singapore to work on business development in South-East Asia. We will keep in touch with them, keep an eye on their progress and in addition to the accelerator program we will do other projects to support developers.
NIKITA SINKOV, PROGRAM PARTICIPANT:
- We are creating a full cycle ticket platform. In practice, this is unique software for Kazakhstan. This is an opportunity to create a centralized ticket system. Organizers and the government will have an opportunity to track how tickets are sold and to report. We, as developers of the ticket system, guarantee that this report will always be accurate. Furthermore, the organizers can control their cash desks and online sales.
The main goal of the Astana Hub International Technopark is to develop the IT entrepreneurship and innovative technologies. The program is implemented taking into account the best experiences of other modern countries. The idea behind Technopark’s creation is included in the state Digital Kazakhstan program.
