Innovations by young scientists
Kazakhstani schoolchildren contribute to the country's innovative development. Young researchers presented inventions that can greatly facilitate the life of society. Astana hosted an Olympiad in the field of green energy, IT industry and robotics, organized by the nationwide movement Kazakhstan 2050. More than 200 projects took part in the competition. The jury selected 10 most viable. Now, personal mentors will be helping young scientists to improve their ideas throughout the year. After the Olympiad, people will be able to observe the implementation of projects in the reality show, which will be broadcasted on one of the republican television channels. Among the winners are eight-year-old Almaty resident, Chingiz Kuanyshpai. He presented the development that accelerates the process of plant growth. It helps to grow practically any seeds within 43 days.
CHINGIZ KUNYSHPAI, STUDENT, NAZARBAYEV INTELLECTUAL SCHOOL, ALMATY:
- The idea of the project came to me 11 months ago. 11 It is very important to grow organic greens at home now, instead of going to the supermarket and buying greens at a higher price, it's much easier to grow greenery at home and be sure that there are no pesticides and chemicals in it. This device lets you do so.
MUKHTAR MANKEYEV, CHAIRMAN OF COUNCIL, ‘KAZAKHSTAN 2050’NATIONAL MOVEMENT:
- We have already selected the top ten projects. The project authors have received certificates. Five mentors will supervise two projects each. They will help young talents in their implementation.
