Kazakhstan is implementing a project to switch to eco-transport
Kazakhstan is implementing a project to switch to eco-transport. It improves the efficiency of traffic management systems and infrastructure. First of all, car assembly plants have began to produce new types of cars by applying eco-technologies. This allows to produce high-quality comfortable models of passenger transport. The new types of cars have been provided by the conditions necessary to a comfortable trip.
MURATBEK MAKASH, TECHNOLOGIST:
- Our main task is to provide domestic market. As we see how developed countries work, we can ensure that not only knowledge is important, but also the application of new technologies.
ASEMKHAN DOSKOZHANOV, ENTERPRISE MANAGER:
- Today, Kazakhstan-Russia relations are trustworthy and friendly. This is the merit of our head of state. The common customs tariff of The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and low tariffs open the way for commodity circulation, and this contributes to the country’s prosperity. In the near future, we think that we will manufacture beads and booths on our own. This will increase the share of the Kazakh revenue.
Meanwhile, the Kazakh plant is set to be implemented. The Kostanai enterprise has begun assembling electric vehicles and hybrid buses.
SERGEY MOGILATOV, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, AUTOMOBILE FACTORY:
- Sooner or later, the automotive industry will be done with petrol engines. Now we have to substitute the petrol engines with alternative ones. We deliver these buses not only for the expo, but also for entire Kazakhstan.
These buses are designed to serve residents and guests of the capital arriving at the international exhibition. Overall, the country’s capital will be supplied with more than 400 public transports and out of which 20 units are "hybrids" that work both in diesel fuel and with the help of an electric motor.
BEIBUT YESZHANOV, DIRECTOR, ASTANA DEPARTMENT OF PASSENGER TRANSPOR:
- We will launch the buses in the capital by shuttle bass. Its target audience is the residents and guests of the expo. The bus №500 will run from international airport to the "Nurly Zhol" railway station through the international exhibition.
The plant’s capacity allows to construct up to one thousand buses per year. The party of public transport for the capital is almost ready for use. The producers plan to finish the delivery to Astana til June 10th.
