Number of recovered patients from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan approaches 102,000
64 more patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Their total number in Kazakhstan increased to 101,914.
Meanwhile, new cases of the novel coronavirus were also recorded in the country. According to the official data from Kazakh Health Ministry, 45 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 18, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Nur-Sultan with six new coronavirus cases. Four more positive COVID-19 cases were reported in North Kazakhstan region and four in Karagandy region in the last 24 hours, three in Almaty, two in Akmola region, two in Atyrau region, two in West Kazakhstan region, two in Kostanai region, one in Pavlodar region and one in Turkistan region.
To date, there are 107,307 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 14,004 in Nur-Sultan, 14,349 in Almaty, 5,186 in Shymkent, 3,460 in Akmola region, 3,237 in Aktobe region, 4,947 in Almaty region, 11,047 in Atyrau region, 8,547 in East Kazakhstan region, 4,116 in Zhambyl region, 6,840 in West Kazakhstan region, 10,227 in Karagandy region, 3,465 in Kostanai region, 3,238 in Kyzylorda region, 3,337 in Mangystau region, 3,890 in Pavlodar region, 4,051 in North Kazakhstan region and 3,366 in Turkistan region.
In addition, 62 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and one death were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 40 patients were reported to have recovered from pneumonia with coronavirus symptoms in the last day. A total of 31,148 such cases, 344 fatalities and 26,709 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
