Nearly 99,900 coronavirus patients recover in Kazakhstan
239 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 99,893. According to the latest data from Kazakh Health Ministry, 64 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 17, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Almaty and West Kazakhstan region with eight and seven new coronavirus cases, respectively. Two more COVID-19 cases were recorded in Nur-Sultan in the last 24 hours, three in Akmola region, one in Almaty region, three in Atyrau region, four in Zhambyl region, six in Karagandy region, two in Kostanai region, two in Pavlodar region, five in North Kazakhstan region and four in Turkistan region.
To date, there are 106,425 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 13,892 in Nur-Sultan, 14,284 in Almaty, 5,181 in Shymkent, 3,424 in Akmola region, 3,223 in Aktobe region, 4,909 in Almaty region, 10,961 in Atyrau region, 8,311 in East Kazakhstan region, 4,101 in Zhambyl region, 6,792 in West Kazakhstan region, 10,153 in Karagandy region, 3,436 in Kostanai region, 3,231 in Kyzylorda region, 3,334 in Mangystau region, 3,860 in Pavlodar region, 3,990 in North Kazakhstan region and 3,343 in Turkistan region.
In addition, 16 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and one death were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 217 patients were reported to have recovered from pneumonia with coronavirus symptoms in the last day. A total of 27,778 such cases, 315 fatalities and 6,176 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
