92,598 coronavirus patients recover in Kazakhstan

1,509 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 92,598.

According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 175 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. 68 of them are cases with no clinical symptoms of infection. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 28, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Karagandy region and Atyrau region with 20 and 15 new coronavirus cases, respectively. 12 more COVID-19 cases were recorded in Almaty in the last 24 hours, eight in Nur-Sultan, 13 in West Kazakhstan region, one in Shymkent, seven in Almaty region, six in Zhambyl region, 12 in North Kazakhstan region, 13 in Pavlodar region, 10 in Kostanai region, 14 in Akmola region, 10 in Turkistan region, one in Kyzylorda region and five in Aktobe region.

To date, there are 104,718 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 14,084 in Almaty, 13,738 in Nur-Sultan, 10,833 in Atyrau region, 9,958 in Karagandy region, 8,007 in East Kazakhstan region, 6,690 in West Kazakhstan region, 5,165 in Shymkent, 4,875 in Almaty region, 4,057 in Zhambyl region, 3,861 in North Kazakhstan region, 3,777 in Pavlodar region, 3,346 in Kostanai region, 3,331 in Akmola region, 3,315 in Mangystau region, 3,255 in Turkistan region, 3,227 in Kyzylorda region and 3,199 in Aktobe region.

In addition, 84 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and two deaths were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 823 patients were reported to have recovered from pneumonia with coronavirus symptoms in the last day.

A total of 22,744 such cases, 258 fatalities and 4,519 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
