Kazakhstan records 1,158 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 1,158 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 555 of them are cases with no clinical symptoms of infection. Nur-Sultan is in the first place in the country in terms of the number of new registered coronavirus cases with 220 new positive cases of infection, followed by Almaty where 178 new COVID-19 cases were recorded. 124 more coronavirus cases were registered in East Kazakhstan region in the past day, 31 in Shymkent, 56 in Akmola region, five in Aktobe region, 52 in Almaty region, 35 in Atyrau region, 47 in Zhambyl region, 61 in West Kazakhstan region, 90 in Karagandy region, 57 in Kostanai region, 42 in Kyzylorda region, 25 in Mangystau region, 67 in Pavlodar region, 51 in North Kazakhstan region and 17 in Turkistan region.

To date, there are 93,820 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 11,924 in Nur-Sultan, 12,464 in Almaty, 5,011 in Shymkent, 2,813 in Akmola region, 3,061 in Aktobe region, 4,491 in Almaty region, 10,383 in Atyrau region, 6,734 in East Kazakhstan region, 3,683 in Zhambyl region, 5,990 in West Kazakhstan region, 8,896 in Karagandy region, 2,853 in Kostanai region, 3,068 in Kyzylorda region, 2,965 in Mangystau region, 3,359 in Pavlodar region, 3,273 in North Kazakhstan region and 2,852 in Turkistan region.

2,621 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 65,132.
