COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan approach 50,000
According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 1,109 more coronavirus cases have been registered over the past 24 hours in Kazakhstan, including 157 in Almaty, 128 in West Kazakhstan region and 101 in Atyrau region. 649 of them are asymptomatic carriers.
 
To date, the country has 49,683 COVID-19 cases, including 5,984 (+95) in Nur-Sultan, 6,358 (+157) in Almaty, 3,594 (+39) in Shymkent, 1,484 (+32) in Akmola region, 1,828 (+86) in Aktobe region, 2,691 (+51) in Almaty region, 5,892 (+101) in Atyrau region, 2,178 (+62) in East Kazakhstan region, 1,789 (+59) in Zhambyl region, 3,423 (+128) in West Kazakhstan region, 5,336 (+93) in Karagandy region, 1,161 (+63) in Kostanai region, 1,456 (+7) in Kyzylorda region, 1,590 (+13) in Mangystau region, 1,460 (+52) in Pavlodar region, 1,418 (+19) in North Kazakhstan region and 2,041 (+52) in Turkistan region.
 
16,183 patients recovered in Kazakhstan.

76 deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the country for the period from June 30 to July 6, bringing the total death toll from the infection to 264.
