Kazakhstan to open 30 more labs for coronavirus testing
Kazakhstan will strengthen measures to determine hidden sites of coronavirus among the population. For this purpose, the number of people for COVID-19 testing is planned to be increased up to 25,000 per day. 30 more laboratories will be opened as well. This was reported in the state commission emergency headquarters.
“Healthcare employees, law enforcement officers and other people fighting against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic will be tested first. People with severe chronic diseases and pregnant women are a priority as well,” said the statement.
Laboratories in all the state’s regions carry out nearly 16,000 COVID-19 testing per day.
