Coronavirus Cases Numbers Increases in Kazakhstan
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reached 32. Four new cases have been reported in Almaty and one more in Nur-Sultan. The Government Emergency Response Commission headed by the President of Kazakhstan is introducing a quarantine regime in the two major cities starting March 19th.
Chief sanitary doctor released changes to the list of countries and quarantine requirements applied to them. Now, Kazakh citizens who come from France, Iran, Italy, Spain and Germany must be placed in hospitals. Travelers who come from China, South Korea and other Schengen zone countries must be under a residence-based quarantine. However, they can be also placed in hospitals, if doctors decide so.
