VALERY BENBERIN, CHAIRMAN, FORUM ORGANIZING COMMITTEE:
- There are 19 resorts, that have been studied to different extent, and nearly 200 various sanatoriums in our country. We are lacking a single resorts standardization and certification system. It is very omportant to come to certain conclusion and resolve these issues.
Single register of Kazakhstani sanatorium and resort organizations will be developed soon. It will help to elaborate and implement a single development plan in the indusry.
SAYAGUL KAIRGELDINA, PRESIDENT, KAZAKH NATIONAL SPA ASSOCIATION:
- Firstly, it is a creation of a single register, secondly, elaboration of the development strategy and thirdly, of course, personnel training for the resorts industry in Kazakhstan. We are planning to launch the program by the end of the year, but everything depends on whether Kazakhstani sanatoriums will enter the association.
Development of domestic tourism will contribute to the opening of the first radon spring in Kazakhstan. It was found in the resort area of Burabai. There are nearly 500 underground radon springs in the world. The healing properties of this water have been scientificully proven.
KAIRAT BERKINBAYEV, PRESIDENT, MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE COMPLEX:
- We will use a radon spring for medical and rehabilitation purposes. In the future, we will use it to treat our local patients and holidaymakers.
The forum participants offered to provide sanatorium-resort treatment for Kazakhstan residents as part of the guaranteed free medical care. Experts intend to discuss this with officials in the near future.
