Cardiac surgeon from Italy shares experience with kazakh colleagues
Surgeons from Semey have learned how to conduct a heart surgery using the latest technology from their Italian colleague. Italian professor Alfredo Gallasi together with local surgeons has successfully operated five patients at the local medical center. Cardiologists say this intervention is less traumatic. A coronary conductor enters a small puncture in the femoral part. Such operations have been successfully performed in the cardiac centers of Astana and Almaty.
Beken KASSYMOV, PATIENT:

Raushan KIKIMBAEVA, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, CITY MEDICAL CENTER:
Our specialists will be get trained together with Italian colleagues. In the future they will train our staff at hospitals and we will be able to perform such surgical operations ourselves.
