EXPO 2017 is an example for future specialized exhibitions
EXPO 2017 will be an example for the organizers of future specialized exhibitions. This assessment was given to Astana EXPO 2017 in Paris. The EXPO Commissioner Rapil Zhoshybayev presented the final report at the International Exhibitions Bureau in Paris. Initially, as mentioned in the registration dossier of the Astana EXPO 2017, the exhibition aimed to attract 100 countries and 10 international organizations, but in fact 115 states and 22 international organizations showcased their technologies and projects at the exhibition.

- We reported on EXPO 2017 to the International Exhibitions Bureau and were highly appreciated. The management of the International Exhibitions Bureau spoke highly of the Astana EXPO 2017 and named it an example for future specialized exhibitions. We are going to report on EXPO 2017 at the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau in a month.
During the meeting of Rapil Zhoshybaev with the Secretary-General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Vicente Loscertales, the head of the Bureau congratulated Kazakhstan on the success of the EXPO 2017 and thanked President Nursultan Nazarbayev for his attention and constant support to holding the exhibition.

- Remarkable achievement by the President of the Republic who was personally involved in the whole project by his government and the city of Astana, the organizing committee and also all the people of Kazakhstan and Astana participated in this event. I think you have to admit that the site itself was also something very special.
Members of the Executive Committee of the Bureau heard other reports on the preparations for "Beijing 2019", and "Dubai 2020". In November, the General Assembly of the Exhibition’s Bureau in Paris will announce voting results about the host of the EXPO 2022.
