Young Kazakh designers took part in the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris. The event was held on the opening of Paris Fashion Week.

The platform is one of the main presentation sites for oriental designers. Kazakh designers take part in the event on a regular basis.

CEO of Oriental Fashion Show, Hind Joudar said that Kazakhstan is a country with magnificent culture and history.

“We are interested in the revival of Kazakh fashion traditions. The Kazakhs understand the value of their heritage. It is important to know who we are and fashion is a way to express our identity. Our show demonstrates the best that the culture can offer,” she said.

Designers Zhanna Kan and Nazym Karpykova presented their fashion collections at the prestigious fashion event.

Previously, their outfits were demonstrated at Kazakhstan Fashion Week, where the designers were noticed by organizers of the Oriental Fashion Show.

According to Karpykova, there are more designers now and it creates bigger competition. All of them want to make clothes and represent their collections in the best way.

Karpykova believes that Kazakh designers improve and grow every year.
