Colors of the Great Steppe Exhibition Held in UNESCO Headquarters in Paris

The Colors of the Great Steppe exhibition, dedicated to Kazakhstan, took place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The exhibition presents the best works of young artists from all over Asia, including Kazakh photographers.

“We are glad to see that the artists are interested in our capital. It was very difficult for the members of jury to choose the winner because we had to judge 625 works,” National Federation of Unesco Clubs vice president, Serkan Ayazbayev said.

The exhibition in Paris was organized by UNESCO Clubs Federation and the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan.

Images displayed at the event showcases the Kazakh capital being painted in harmony with the landscape photographs of famous artists.

Director of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan, Sergei Tokhtarov said that the artists that took part in the exhibition were children and youths, who will continue the large-scale changes in Kazakhstan that were initiated by the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

“We are confident that through this project, the world community will discover new facets of modern Kazakhstan through the prism of the young and skillful generation of Kazakhstan,” he said.
