‘Junior Eurovision song contest’ selection in Kazakhstan continues
Young Kazakh talents have two weeks to submit their application for the participation in the qualifying national competition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The application will close on August 31st. The participation for the contest can be applied on the official website of Khabar Agency. Children aged 9 to 14 can take part in the qualifying national competition. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in 2003 for the first time and has since become an annual event. Countries that take part in the contest are only members of European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Khabar Channel became a member of the EBU from January 1st, 2016. The negotiations on Kazakshtan’s participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest had taken place over a year. The decision was made in summer, July 25th. Experts say the prestigious competition is a real voyage to the world of creativity and it opens great opportunities for the contestants.
