Talented Kazakh musicians studying abroad performed in Kazakhstan
A concert titled ‘Musical Holidays’ was held in the Chamber Hall of Astana Opera. Students of the world’s leading musical universities and laureates of international contests demonstrated their excellent performing skills. Some of the students are from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. The concert program includes the masterpieces of the world’s classical music.
SAULE MAULETOVA, HEAD OF MUSIC DEPARTMENT, ASTANA OPERA:
- The theater invites renowned artists and also gives opportunities to young Kazakh performers. Today, aspiring Kazakh musicians will perform in Astana Opera. They will perform compositions starting with baroque music, works of Johann Bach and jazz compositions.
Pianist Temirlan Beisenbai is a student at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, a famous Austrian school. The musician performed the Ballade No. 1 by Frederic Chopin. The composition is the greatest achievement of the composer, in which he conveys destinies of his country and people.
TEMIRLAN BEISENBAI, PIANIST:
- It is very important and exciting to perform in the homeland. All my colleagues and friends will come. They appreciate the work I did when I left Kazakhstan, so it's very important to prove myself as the best. In the ensemble with Zheksenbai Doskhan we perform a very interesting work, which is called ‘New Orleans.’
The musicians presented the popular compositions of today, which is the Poem for violin and orchestra by French composer Ernest Chausson. The concert also featured the famous Rhapsody No. 1 by Johannes Brahms.
