‘Dialogue With The World’ exhibition
Exhibition "Dialogue with the World" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Astana has been opened in Astana. The exposition features the works of four artists and one sculptor, including Guldana Zhurkabayeva, Naira Tumanyan, Maria Bendarskaya, Aidos Esmagambetov and Renat Elubayev. The authors differ in style, imagery and performance techniques, but all are united by the love for the arts, lightness and desire to create their own "story" by means of the colors. According to art critics, the creative process demonstrates that the creators’ development is much more interesting than the final result. Renat Elubaev’s style is compared to the techniques of Vincent Van Gogh. Renat is a winner of the gold medal of an international exhibition in the United States and the Italian Canaletto prize.
YERMEK ASSYLKHANOV, PROFESSOR OF ARTS:
- I think that this creative search helps discover and realize something new. The works of Guldana Zhurkabayeva give us colorful feelings, optimism, bright colors. Our philosophical ideas are expanding thanks to her paintings. She reveals unfulfilled dreams and unresolved issues in her work.
RENAT YELUBAYEV, MEMBER, KAZAKH UNION OF ARTISTS:
- I draw oil paintings, in general. I like the traditional patterns in art. I often draw the kobyz. From my point of view, all the beautiful music performed on the kobyz is connected with the fine arts.
