AIGUL ONGARBAYEVA, HEAD, DEPARTMENT OF YOUTH, KARAGANDY STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY:
- We want to further strengthen friendships among the youth, and promote unity and solidarity.
The festival featured 6 different nominations. Participants contested in dancing, singing, reading poems and demonstrating their skills in national theatrical art.
SULTAN MAKSATULY, STUDENT:
- Of course, we need such festivals. I think that being aware about the culture and traditions of the ethnic groups living in our country is necessary. The main goal is to show and tell about these traditions. In my opinion, the friendship always wins.
The number of participants of the ‘We are Different, We are Equal, We are Together!’ festival which is taking place for the fifth time, are increasing. The organizers said that the event’s goal is to introduce young people to national traditions through the culture and creativity of the people living in Kazakhstan.
