The Kazakh designer’s collections were featured in the fashion week in Milan. Indira Bilisbekova presented her collection of women's clothes at the "Opening of Milan fashion week." This is her first show outside Kazakhstan. The victory in the national "San Men Sakhna" festival contributed to taking part in the international show.
INDIRA BILISBEKOVA, DESIGNER:
- Of course, I'm waiting an enchanting show! I hope I manage to be distinguished from other designers. I mixed several styles and created an ethnic image mixed with a floral print. It looks a bit unusual, and I think I will be able to do it.
The romantic mood of the designer from Kazakhstan inspired the creation of the Flower Garden collection which consists of 6 outfits of luxurious textured fabrics of spring flowers like lilac, crimson and fuchsia. The designer admits that after her trip to Japan, she had the courage to mix several Oriental cultures in her works.
The opening Milan fashion week became a possible road to Europe for talented young designers from around the world. Having accomplished the srict selection, they have an excellent opportunity to present their work to the international public. Genuine interest in Europe, said the organizer of the show, Elene Savo, causes creativity of Kazakhstan designers.
ELENA SAVO, ORGANIZER:
- The concept is obvious but the highlight is the East! Color is so strong, and prints are very different. Moreover, there is a very strong trend. There is a need for the market. The people are interested, because they want something new in the market! Therefore, it seems to me, it is the right time!
Young participants have the opportunity to get new acquaintances during a few minutes on this podium. In addition to the collection of the Kazakh designer Indira Bilisbekova, it was possible to see the works of her colleagues from Italy, Russia, Monaco and Australia.
