History of Karaganda in painting
Karaganda artists are offering to study the history of their native land trough fine art. The source of knowledge this time is not books but paintings by prominent local artists. The exhibition named "Karaganda through the eyes of the artists" in the museum of fine arts displayed 80 paintings. They reflected urban landscapes and mining topics. The exposition visitors can make a journey into the past and see how the city has been changing over the years. The exhibition is held as part of the Modernization of Public Consciousness program.

- All the works presented at the exhibition are taken from the fund of our Regional Museum of Fine Arts. Visitors can see the important aspects of the life of Karaganda in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. They can get acquainted with the work of artists who lived in that period.
