It was considered among other invitations, invitations from Seoul, South Korea as well, from Tokyo, from Lisbon and other places. But everything fell into place certainly the possibility of doing the expo was an interesting to us. It also coincided with the good date that my father is able to come all the way to Astana and everyone was in agreement with what Astana Opera needs to do in order to present Operalia and what Operalia brings to Astana.
In addition to broadcast on the country’s major television channels, residents and guests of the capital will be able to see live how the competition unfolds.
