Kazakh musicians give concert in London
A concert of classical music with participation of the Kazakh violinist Aiman Mussakhajayeva was held in London’s famous Guildhall ceremonial hall to mark the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence. The Eurasian symphonic orchestra of the Kazakh National Arts University performed the world-famous masterpieces. Invited officials, and British art connoisseurs enthusiastically welcomed the Kazakh musicians. Along with the well-known works by Schubert and Khachaturian, compositions by Kazakh young composers sounded on the stage.

My work tells that music is dwelling of God. And the music is sublime and abstract. This work is written in an innovative style.
As the chief of the folklore ensemble "Korkyt ata" stressed, during the tour, foreign musicologists highly evaluated the playing of kobyz and sazsyrnay. The sound of these instruments was a discovery for them.

The sounds of our national instruments have the property to blend in with all the instruments of the Symphonic Orchestra. This feature has amazed the professional musicians.

Yes, I have seen these instruments before. I’ve actually gow acquainted with dombra, I’ve got learn to play. No, no, it is very very interesting. This is a wonderful, wonderful performance.
The concert featured also the performance by the young musicians of the national ensemble of dombra players "Shabyt" and Aigolek ensemble of violinists. These tours give a unique concert experience and an opportunity for students of the Kazakh National University to demonstrate their achievements on the world stage. The highlight was an arrangement by Aiman Mussakhajayeva.

We have shown that we have young people who will develop the Kazakh culture further, and hand down from generation to generation the traditions and those achievements that the previous generation reached.
After a tour in Europe, the Kazakh musicians are planning to give a concert in Astana ahead of the anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
