Young participants of the student theater festival in Semey were able to present their creativity
Young participants of the student theater festival in Semey were able to present their creativity, self-determination, initiative and a variety of interesting roles. This year, the festival was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence. The group of Mukan Tulebayev Music College staged a play ‘Shanyrak shattygy –Family joy’. In their work, young actors reflected the hard fate of families affected by the nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site and the realities of modern times, where peace and harmony are the major values.
BOLAT KAMZIN, SENIOR LECTURER, TULEBAYEV MUSIC COLLEGE
We tried to show the chronicles from the times of test site till the present day in a 15-minute play.
The actors of ‘Serpіlіs’ Theatre from Transport College prepared a thorough production of Gabit Musirepov’s ‘Kozy Korpesh - Bayan Sulu’. As a result, it was hard distinguishing the future engineers from professional actors on stage.
AIGUL IMANBEKOVA, STUDENT, TRANSPORT COLLEGE
This competition has become a real inspiration for us! Our students love the theater; it was not hard for them to perform. We are very happy to be here!
