Kazakh filmmakers will hone their skills at the New York Film Academy
Kazakh filmmakers will hone their skills at the New York Film Academy. The leadership of the New York Film Academy and Kazakh National University of Arts signed a cooperation agreement. The parties plan to develop exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students, internship programs in various disciplines. They will also consider the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in science, culture and education. Last year, this agreement was concluded with the office of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Some of the instructors of the Kazakh National University of Arts have already been able to intern in the United States.

- The NYFA is thrilled to welcome here the Kazakh National University of Arts and after just completing our memorandum of understanding we are thrilled to look forward to the future of our collaboration, when we can welcome the student from Kazakh National University of Arts here in the NYFA, and the NYFA can offer some of our expertise and the art of filmmaking. We look forward to the near future and the film festival will occur in July, and being there and to join the festivities and also all for our future collaborations and continued success to both institutions.

- We hope that this agreement will give us an opportunity to develop the academic mobility of our students and exchange of instructors giving master classes. This is a very large area of our work in the Film and Television department and we hope that our students will be able to work and make films internationally.
