Kazakh film ‘The walnut tree’ awarded with prize of Asian cinema festival
Kazakh film "The Walnut Tree" directed by Yerlan Nurmukhambetov was awarded with two special prizes at the 22nd International Film Festival of Asian Cinema. The jury praised him with the words: "for a living and a bold portrait of rural life" and "for his ability to bring a smile, despite the difficult economic and political situation," - end of quote.
