Tajikistan’s tourist potential

Tajikistan is the country of high mountains, which have energizing and refreshing properties. Tajikistan is the land of continuous small and larger mountain ranges, which are intimidating and captivating at the same time. More than 93% of Tajikistan’s area is covered by mountains. Half of the country’s terrain is located at the elevation of 3,000 meters above sea level. The highest point of the Central Asia’s Pamir Mountain range is the Ismoil Somoni Peak, which is 7,495 meters high above sea level. Pamir means ‘the foot of the sun deity’ in the ancient Persian language. The mountain range is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

A well-known recreational facility of the area, Safed Dara Resort Area is located in the southern part of the snow-covered Hissor Mountain Range. The resort’s name means White Valley, which was proved by our production team to be true. The snow lies in the ski resort until summer. The resort provides a unique opportunity for the visitors to experience all of the four seasons of the year at the same time.
