Legacy of the great Kazakh writer Abai Kunanbayev will be thoroughly studid in Uzbekistan
The year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan has become a sign of strengthening cooperation and friendly ties between the brotherly nations. A delegation led by the chairman of Uzbekistan’s Writers’ Union, Muhammad Ali visited the “Otyrar” library in South Kazakhstan region. Poets, writers and scientists from neighboring Uzbekistan learnt about the library’s rich book stock. They noted that the legacy of the great Kazakh writer and philosopher Abai Kunanbayev will be thoroughly studies in Uzbekistan. Festive events dedicated to his creative works will be held on the poet’s birthday in Tashkent every year. During the visit guests from sunny Uzbekistan also held a meeting with the governor of the region, Zhanseyit Tuimebayev. The parties discussed expanding business interactions and cultural connections.

- Abai Kunanbayev called Alisher Navoyi his teacher. Gafur Gulom was a good friend of Sabit Mukanov. In his works he called Sabit Mukanov a worthy opponent in improvisation contests. Our nations should also have the similar friendship.
