Kazakhstan to support business entities affected by pandemic
At a briefing in the Central Communications Service, Chairperson of the “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Ablai Myrzakhmetov made a statement proposing to expand the list of industries affected by the pandemic and include tourism and all areas of the manufacturing sector as well. The state defined a total of 29 industries that were hit by the pandemic to date. Indirectly, it is difficult to find an industry that has not been affected at all, Myrzakhmetov noted. The offer to expand the list was sent to Kazakh Ministry of National Economy. In addition, the chairperson announced a number of anti-crisis measures developed by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs together with the Government to support business.
“We signed an agreement with the Government yesterday, for which we are grateful to PM and his team. They took such a step after all, that concerns integration with all databases allowing business entities to get all services, subsidies, all information about public procurement, take part in them and get information about foreign markets via their personal account on atameken.kz using electronic digital signature. The account provides knowledge base, accounting and legal services, business protection and, most importantly, business petitions section that we have recently launched,” said Myrzakhmetov.
