Over US$948 million to be allocated to the Economy of Simple Things
Additional 400 billion tenge (over US$948 million) will be allocated to the Economy of Simple Things program. The funding will allocated to the production and processing in the agricultural sector, the manufacturing industry and services.
 
In total, over 130 types of activities will be supported, which offered the production of more than 300 consumer goods, from foodstuffs to medicines and equipment,” said Kazakh Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov.
 
According to the ministry, loans are granted for a period of 10 years, there are no restrictions on the amount. The interest rate is 6 percent.
 
The rate is subsidized by the state. If there are questions about loans, state guarantee is provided,” explained the minister.
 
He said that this package of urgent measures will have a stabilizing effect on the labor market and the economy.
