World’s 20 Richest Billionaires Lost Nearly US$300 Billion amid Coronavirus Pandemic

In just a month, the fortune of the world’s 20 richest people has declined by nearly US$300 billion. According to Forbes, due to the sharp fall of world stock markets, Monday alone accounted for US$68 billion of the losses, marking the largest stock market crash in a day since the Black Monday in October, 1987. Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Google co-founder Larry Page are among those who shed billions.
