EAEU Member Countries Eliminate Trade Barriers
The Eurasian Economic Commission in the Eurasian Economic Union eliminated 17 trade barriers this year.
Priority goals of the EAEU are to identify obstacles as well as to respect the interests of all participating countries in the integration association.
Special attention is drawn to the prevention of violations of the general rules of competition in the cross-border markets of the union.
In the first nine months of this year, Kazakhstan’s exports to the EAEU member countries increased by 16% while import grew by 9%.
“More than 41 applications were received. Analyses are being carried out based on these requests. The soft law institute and proposals have been introduced. The party that has violated the rules of competition has the opportunity to rectify the situation,” said Member of Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Serik Zhumangarin.
