The favorable investment climate in Kazakhstan attracts a lot of foreign businessmen. Capital inflows to the country were recorded at US$6 billion in the first quarter of 2019.

The investment process in Kazakhstan becomes easier every year. This year the republic was included in the top 30 leaders in “Ease of Doing Business” ranking.

The significant breakthrough was made based on indicators such as receiving construction permit and quick bankruptcy procedure.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan has remained as the world leader in protecting minority investors for the second year.

There are 12 special economic zones and 22 industrial zones in the country.

Project Manager of Investment Company, Alida Tuyebekova said that the opening of a limited liability partnership with foreign participation takes about three to four business days. Also, there is no any control over the charter or any statutory documents. The country is completely open to foreign investment and cooperation.

Although there is a slowdown in terms of investments in the world, Kazakhstan can still reap the benefits to improve its performance and attract as much investment as possible.

According to Managing Director of Consulting Company, Maksat Kurbenov, many companies in China and the United States are reviewing new markets for their products. That means they are planning to move their factories to new countries. Kazakhstan could join this race in the global value chain.

The gross inflow of foreign direct investment in the economy of Kazakhstan was more than US$24 billion in 2018. The country is planning to double this figure.

The country will create attractive business environment for investors as well as new projects that could interest the foreign businesses will also be developed in Kazakhstan.
