Kazakhstan to Adopt Experience of Argentina in Agriculture

Kazakhstan is adopting the experience of Argentina in the agro-industrial complex.

Argentine experts are ready to provide their Kazakh partners with the necessary advice and technical support in the implementation of innovative projects in plant cultivation and livestock production.

Argentina is one of the greatest exporters of grain, oil-bearing plants, meat and other types of agricultural products.

A country with a population of 40 million people makes enough products to feed 400 million people. Every Argentinian provides food for 10 people on the planet.

Due to the use of new agricultural technologies, this country managed to increase the grain yield by almost 2 times in 10 years. Argentines brought the supply of agricultural products to 55% of the total exports of the country.

There are two types of agricultural support measures in Argentina.

The first is subsidizing the petroleum, oil, lubricants, subsidizing diesel fuel by 40%.

The second is subsidizing the introduction of innovative technologies. 50% of the cost of innovation is subsidized by the state. Innovative technologies are being introduced with the help of research institutions.

“We can offer our experience in supporting the farmers and agrarians.  We are also planning to bring the embryos in order to breed cattle here. As for crop production, we are ready to share our progressive technologies. We are continuously researching and experimenting in this area and we can always share our experience with your specialists. Kazakhstan has great agricultural potential,” said President of Agricultural Technology National Institute of Argentina, Juan Balbin.
