Kazakhstan and Russia to increase the trade volume
Kazakhstan and Russia are increasing the trade volume. Kazakhstan’s share in the exports and imports ratio of the Russian Chelyabinsk region increased and totaled 40%. (Kazakhstan is ahead of neighboring China by this indicator). The results of the first nine months of this year showed that the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Russian Chelyabinsk region reached almost US$ 1.5 billion. Mineral products are the biggest trade item between the countries, followed by agricultural products and beverages. According to analysts, the annual trade value between Chelyabinsk region and Kazakhstan is growing. The statistics showed that the countries are ahead of the last year’s target by 6-7%. The trade turnover in 2017 totaled almost US$ 2 billion.

- The exports and imports ratio in the trade turnover is the same. Probably, we import a little bit more raw materials from Kazakhstan. In 2017, imports from Kazakhstan exceeded the export values. We imported more products from Kazakhstan than export.
