Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom: potential of trade and economic relations
Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom are discussing the potential of trade and economic relations. In London, the parties talked about Kazakhstan’s privatization program, possibilities of listing Kazakh companies on the London Stock Exchange, as well as the likelihood of the use of Cyprus’s jurisdiction as part of the UK’s investment activities in Kazakhstan.

In 2016, the UK exported goods and services to Kazakhstan which worth 5.5 billion pounds. In return, Kazakhstan exported products worth 640 million pounds to the UK. Both countries are trying to increase these figures.
