Automotive industry development increases in Kazakhstan
The production volumes of Kazakh automotive industry is on the rise. The growth was recorded to over 67 per cent compared to last year. In the first half of the year, a total of 14, 660 vehicles were manufactured in Kazakhstan. The vehicles include passenger cars, trucks and specialized vehicles. The total value exceeds 88 billion tenge. According to the chairman of the union of enterprises of the automotive industry Oleg Alfyorov, the growth of production rates was driven by the demand for vehicles. Every second buyer of cars in Kazakhstan is choosing cars produced at domestic plants. The national budget’s tax revenues generated by the industry also grew, reaching four billion tenge.

-The results of the six months of the year showed that 14,660 vehicles with the total value of more than 88 billion tenge were manufactured in Kazakhstan. The volumes of manufactured vehicles exceeded last year’s result by 67.2 per cent and manufacturing of passenger cars grew by 78 per cent.
