IMF: Economic growth forecast
Kazakhstan’s economic growth can reach 5.5% in the upcoming years. This was forecasted by experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). According to the IMF, it will take two to four years for Kazakhstan to achieve such indicators as the country is on track to implement structural reforms and initiatives in the country. The work of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) will also influence Kazakhstan’s economy. The first transactions through the AIFC will take place this summer. According to the IMF analysts, the financial center has a strong legal framework, which contributes to international investors’ trust in Kazakhstan.
