Export potential of Kazakhstan enterprises
The Kazakh enterprises are implementing a strategic goal to have access to international markets. According to the results of 2017, external trade turnover of the Akmola region amounted to US$800 million. The share of exports exceeded 30%. For example, a Kokshetau enterprise producing valve boxes and big bags exports one third of its products. Up to three million pieces of finished products are produced annually at the factory. With the launch of a new line, the increase of production volumes is underway.
ERZHAN ASHIKBAEV, DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF RK:
- Our country is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union. It borders with the large Chinese market and cooperates with the promising markets of Central Asia and Iran. Moreover, there is a way out to the countries of Southern Transcaucasia where all products of Kazakhstan are in demand. The goals of the Head of State in his address as follows: modernization of export orientation which is key aspect of this enterprise.
The focus on the export remains a key area in the development of the country's economic policy. The staff of the Ural Transformer Plant understands this. This year, 10,000 transformers will go straight from the conveyors. 90% of production will be delivered to the markets of Russia and Azerbaijan. The enterprise is one of the most successful projects of the first industrial five-year plan in the region.

- Digital modernization is a requirement of time. We will work from the moments of the receipt of the order to deliveries to the customer. Digital transformation is introduced into all production processes. The Smart Warehouse has been already implemented. Earlier finding one detail could take us half an hour, now we can find the information in a few minutes.
Last year, the 10 enterprises were opened in western Kazakhstan, which received support under the industrialization program. The new projects include factories for the production of bricks, asphalt, shoes, pasta and breakfast cereals. Most of them are exported.
ZHANNA BEKKALIYEVA, HEAD, WEST KAZAKHSTAN REGION ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEPARTMENT:
- The second five year period, as part of the Industrialization Map, 29 projects are implemented worth 84.4 billion tenge and 1340 jobs were created from 2015 to 2017. The 22 projects were implemented worth 81 billion tenge.
According to experts, the export volumes can be increased by the use of breakthrough technologies, digital transformation and automation of production. Last year Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to more than US$77 million. It shows the 25% growth comparing to 2016.
