Kazakhstan-Israel: Expansion of cooperation
Kazakhstan and Israel are deepening bilateral cooperation in all spheres. The states are actively developing trade and economic and investment cooperation, expanding cultural and humanitarian ties. About 300 enterprises with the participation of Israeli capital are successfully operating on the territory of the republic at present. Their number will increase in the near future. Such spheres as agriculture, innovative technologies, and healthcare are prioritized.
MICHAEL BRODSKY, ISRAELI AMBASSADOR TO KAZAKHSTAN:
- Last year, we marked the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations. In my opinion, the bilateral relations are developing very well in several spheres such as politics and culture, the economy and business. You know that technology is quite advanced in Israel. This is what Kazakhstan is interested in today and we have very good business and cooperation ties.
Exhibition "Diplomats - Righteous among the Nations" dedicated to the international day of the Holocaust was held in Astana as part of cultural interaction between Kazakhstan and Israel. The event was organized by the Embassy of Israel in Kazakhstan together with the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan. The exhibition was organized as part of the international project "Dialogue through Culture".
KULYAYSHA AKTAYEVA, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, LIBRARY OF FIRST PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN:
- The exhibition has the most direct relation to security, and peaceful coexistence of nations. The international project in the library of First president of Kazakhstan "Dialogue through Culture" offers various kinds of events that let the people of the modern world get to know each other better through those elements of culture, those elements of national consciousness that can be forgotten or distorted.
