Zhambyl region's entrepreneurs are set to boost exports and reduce imports. The industrial-innovative development program helps to implement the plan. 36 investment projects worth more than 500 billion tenge are being implemented in the region as part of the industrialization program. The projects will create new productions and about 6,000 new jobs. Ten investment projects worth 13 billion tenge have been implemented in the past year.
TALGAT SHALDARBEKOV, DEPUTY HEAD, REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION depratment:
- There is the construction gypsum production project worth 3.9 billion tenge, eggs production project in the Zhambyl district worth about 915 million tenge. As for the remaining 13 projects, their implementation is scheduled for 2018-2021.
An automated system for feed production is another breakthrough project. It was launched in early December 2017. Despite the fact that the company has been in the market for only a month, the goods have won the customers' trust. More than 150 recipes of feed for all types of livestock have been developed.
MUKHAMED OSENBAEV, FACTORY WORKER:
- As you can see, everything is convenient. The process can be controlled by two people. The plant is fully automated. The system calculates how many grams of vitamins to add to the feed and sends it to the crusher. Then the feed goes into the mixer which releases the finished product.
Once the complex is fully operational, the finished products will be exported to neighboring countries. The plant will start producing feed for poultry. Advanced technologies used in the plant made the production fully automated..
AFINA COSKINIDI, CFO, FEED PRODUCTION FACTORY:
- We shipped 4,000 tonnes of finished products for cattle, concluded more than 100 contracts. We are planning to increase capacity to 480 tonnes per day.
This is a factory for the production of polyethylene film. Its products are in high demand among farmers and builders. An enterprise with a capacity of three thousand tonnes a year has been operating for several years. The management is planning to reduce imports, find new sales markets and expand the range.
BAKHTIYAR SERKEYEV, COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR, POLYETHYLENE FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY:
- We started conquering the markets of the neighboring countries. Kyrgyzstan melon growers buy our products. In the future, we will deliver products to Uzbekistan and Russia. We are planning to open a workshop for the production of polypropylene nets for packing onions.
43 projects worth 159 billion tenge have been implemented in the region as part of the first five-year plan of industrial-innovative development program. This year they will carry out nine investment projects and create more than 3,000 new jobs. As specialists note, the greatest number of projects is being implemented in the Zhambyl region, which in the future will allow the region to become the industrial and agricultural center of Kazakhstan.
