Export growth from Kazakhstan to central Asia
Kazakhstan increased the volumes of export. In 9 months the export volume grew by 31%. Mostly Kazakhstan exports wheat, sunflower oil, uranium, copper and ferroalloys. This year, exports of processed products grew by 22% which exceeded US$11 billion. Kazakhstan began to supply electric locomotives to Central Asian countries and Ukraine. Export of cars to China is set. The supplies of batteries to Middle East, Caucasus and Belarus have begun. Domestic medicine is exported to Vietnam and Mongolia.

- Russia, Central Asia and China are one of Kazakhstan’s production sales markets. Russia hosted more than 50 events and exhibitions to promote Kazakh products. The Chinese market has a huge interest in terms of business. Today, the volume of exports of processed products amounted to US$2.5 billion. Out of which US$123 million are accounted for the export of processed goods.
According to the data, Kazakhstan is one of the five major exporters to Central Asia. The export of domestic products increased by 30% by reaching the total US$1.5 billion volume.

- The Central Asian countries export products of the metallurgical industry, pharmaceuticals, flour and food products. Since the beginning of this year, production from Kazakhstan to Central Asia has increased by 30%.
Kazakhstani enterprises intend to enter the Uzbek market more actively. Moreover, the neighboring country with 32 million consumers are implementing the necessary measures to create optimal conditions for exporters.
MEIRZHAN MAIKENOV, DEPUTY CHAIRPERSON, KAZAKH INVEST:
- Recently it was announced that Uzbekistan reduced excises from 11 % for flour and sunflower oil which has become 0%. There was 70% asset, now its 42%. In general, the markets are opening. Today we have a turnover of about 2 billion with Uzbekistan, of which more than a billion are exports from Kazakhstan alone. We have a positive balance and we export more than we buy which we find the great potential. We are aiming to develop further the Uzbek market.
Today Kazakhstan ranks 52 among the largest exporting countries. The country supplies more than 800 products of a manufacturing sector to 113 different countries.
